Viděl jsem Rally mod na GoldSRC ale mod přímo na serveru v CS 1.6 mě teda překvapil :)

PS.: Já tak nemám rád ty nové shorts videa na výšku co se nedají posouvat.

Pěkné odpoledne,
O víkendu jsem začal dělat novou mapu na gungame. Jak a proč zrovna tuhle mapu zde popisovat nebudu, prostě jsem ji dneska v podstatě dokončil a chtěl jsem ji zkompilovat. Zkompiloval jsem ji normálně (zhlt) a výsledek vypadal nějak takto http://2i.cz/832c....... prostě se v dálce neobjeví věci, které bych tam chtěl mít, tak jsem si řek, že zkusím VHL s tím, že by to mohlo pomoct. Řídil jsem se podle článku a všechno bylo ok. Mapa se kompilovala, programy běžely http://2i.cz/7dc2... a vypadalo to nadějně. Tak jsem teda zapl mapu v csku a byl jsem zklamaný. Vypadalo to, jako kdyby byla mapa plná leaku, přitom v kompilačním logu nebylo nic.

Našel jsem si teda soubor .err a tam bylo psáno něco ve smyslu C:\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\maps\gg_karavany-xmas-beta.prt can´t found.............cannot vis. Zkusil jsem to zkompilovat ještě jednou. Stejný průběh s tou změnou, že v .err bylo napsáno toto: hlbsp:
Error:
A LEAK is a hole in the map, where the inside of it is exposed to the
(unwanted) outside region. The entity listed in the error is just a helpful
indication of where the beginning of the leak pointfile starts, so the
beginning of the line can be quickly found and traced to until reaching the
outside. Unless this entity is accidentally on the outside of the map, it
probably should not be deleted. Some complex rotating objects entities need
their origins outside the map. To deal with these, just enclose the origin
brush with a solid world brush


Pointfile se z nějakého důvodu nechtěl načíst, tak jsem teda zkusil krychli (provizorně) a ani to nepomohlo. Krom toho mi přijde divné, že se ZHLT se ta mapa zkompiluje v pohodě a s VHLT ne. Zkusil jsem stáhnout i jiný hammer, ale ani to nepomohlo. Budu rád za každou radu, díky...

PS: Krom toho v hammeru 3.5 mi "nefunguje" kompilace na expert, viz http://2i.cz/e45b...

Ty chybějící věci v dálce jsou proto, že máš nastavený malý maximální dohled. (Nahoře Map -> Map properties... a zvětšit hodnotu u Max viewable distance)

V té verzi mapy, kterou si přiložil Leak nebyl, ale máš špatný název mapy a proto se nechtějí zkompilovat světla. V názvu nesmí být normální pomlčky, protože pomlčkou se značí parametr. Když nahradíš "-" za "_" tak to už by to mělo jít.

Co má dělat paramert -nobleedfix ? To si tam předtím neměl.

EDIT: Tento parametr už neexistuje, protože není potřeba (většina problému se světlama je ve VHLT opravena - hlavně v poslední verzi 31):
Fixed light bleed code which was a bit on the buggy side in version 2.1.0. The -nobleedfix switch has been removed as most of the code was rewritten.


Mělo by stačit smazat ten parametr, jestli máš teda nastavený další potřebné věci k VHLT. Jako je např. cesta ke složkám, odkud používáš WADy protože podle toho se zjišťuje barevnost odrážených světel. => používej WADy jen ze složek cstrike a valve. A své vlastní WADy tam přesuň a přidej je do hammeru z tama. (+ includnout jestli je nechceš přikládat k mapě)

Děkuji, pomohlo.
Mám teď ale ještě jednu otázku, konkrétně tedy k cestám do složek cstrike a valve

Jak bylo psáno v článku o VHLT (1.díl), tak by se cesty k těmto složkám měli nastavovat v settings.txt
Jedinou věc, co zde musíme udělat povinně, je, že nastavíme cesty k texturám (wadům), které používáme. Je to nutné, protože nový HLRAD umí vrhat stín ...a pod tím jsou čtyři definice začínající #define -waddir

.....můj settings.txt však vypadá kapánek jinak, tzn. ty 4 definice mi tam chybí, tudíž nevím, kam bych ty cesty měl vepsat, viz.

Jak máš řádek skoro úplně dole #ifdef <hlrad> // RAD, tak pod něj na nové řádky vlož toto a změň cestu podle tvého úmístění cska:
